The healthcare industry within the United States is currently experiencing its biggest transition in history. Cirrus Health is adapting. However, one thing that should not change is taking the control of patient care out of the hands of the ones providing the care - the physicians.

Cirrus Health has been actively engaged to maintain physician’s rights to govern the care given to the patients who trust them with their healthcare. We understand that these rights will continue to be under attack in spite of the data that proves that when physicians govern the healthcare delivery platform:

• patient satisfaction is higher;
• clinical outcomes are significantly better;
• and the facilities are operated more efficiently.

Cirrus Health has adapted its model to maintain physician governance over patient care. It is our foundational principle and one we understand is vital to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

We understand that its physicians and dedicated healthcare professionals that are ultimately responsible for the delivery of exceptional patient care. It is our responsibility to provide the right resources and support so they can focus on caring for patients.

It appears that our philosophy is working.

In a recent report based on CMS data, our physician-governed short-stay hospitals ranked in the top ten in overall patient satisfaction in each of their respective states. This is an incredible testimony to the hard work and dedication of physicians and staff members.

Our leadership team at Cirrus Health is comprised of extremely knowledgeable, innovative, hard-working, integrity-driven individuals committed to delivering the services required to best serve the healthcare needs within the community.
